West Coast Ports Ports

California’s cruise ports launch voyages to Mexico, Hawaii and Alaska. All three cities are large and spread out, so a guided tour is often the most efficient way to see Hollywood, Balboa Park or Muir Woods in the hours before boarding or after you return.

West Coast Ports — FAQ

Can I take a Los Angeles tour straight from the cruise terminal?

Yes. Several city tours start at the San Pedro and Long Beach terminals and cover Hollywood, Beverly Hills and the beaches, which makes them useful on a port day or after disembarkation.

Can I visit Mexico from San Diego before a cruise?

Day trips cross the border to Baja California for food and wine country. You will need a passport or other accepted border document, and border lines can be long, so allow a full day.
